About Choro Das 3

Choro Das 3, a sister-trio from Sao Paulo, Brazil, are known for their visionary interpretation of Brazilian culture, traditions, and landscape through music. Playing a countless variety of instruments, Choro Das 3 creates innovative interpretations of choro, bossa nova, and more music styles that represents a journey through over 100-years of Brazilian music history.

The Garden Conservancy and Bard College have partnered to preserve Blithewood Garden as a cultural resource. At over 100 years old, Blithewood has been greatly diminished by the passage of time and is in critical need of rehabilitation. Designed in 1903 by Francis L.V. Hoppin, this Italianate-style Garden is one of the few intact Hudson River estate gardens remaining from the Gilded Age and has important connections to the evolution of American landscape design.

Together, we are working to restore this iconic garden to its grandeur. The project aims to repair and enhance the Garden's historic features and continue the historic use of this site as an architectural pleasure garden for generations to come. Learn more about Blithewood here.
