Creating Mission-Focused & Community-Centered Programming
May 24, 2023 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

So often organizations run the same programming to generate revenue. “Community-centered programming” infuses diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility to engage your community and beyond, enrichening the content of your programming while providing visitors the opportunity to learn new skills, connect with others, develop a special connection with your organization, and become future supporters.

In collaboration with other workshop participants, you will:

  • Learn new ways to engage your visitors through programming while reinforcing the vision and mission of your gardens and increasing revenue.
  • Define your goals to identify current and new audiences.
  • Identify new programming ideas and what other partnerships you might need.
  • Learn more about how to promote beyond your usual sources so that you can expand your mission's impact.
