Welcoming places in a garden for sitting, gathering, being alone, or with others has taken on new meaning after COVID. Join Gordon and Mary Hayward as they discuss the universal design principles that informed the creation of their garden rooms of six different sizes, designs, and moods—each separate from one another over their acre and a half garden. The goal of this two-hour walkabout is to enable participants to confidently design their own  garden rooms that gently fits into their overall gardens. Many design principles will inevitably surface during this two-hour design stroll.
