Nonprofit Organizations: Partner with Open Days
Open Days partners with the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens in Jacksonville, Florida to celebrate their annual Garden Month of tours, lectures, concerts, and art workshops for visitors of all ages.
Landscape architect James deGrey David treated guest to a private tour and discussion in his Austin, Texas garden through a Digging Deeper event in 2015.
For more than ten years, Open Days has partnered with the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon to share private gardens throughout the Pacific Northwest. HPSO members recently visited Garden Conservancy headquarters in New York during a wider tour of the Hudson Valley.
Pondside Nursery of Hudson, New York is just one of many nurseries or specialty growers that held pop-up sales during Open Days gardens in 2016.
Open Days has generated hundreds of successful partnerships with community nonprofits like yours. Joining with Open Days increases visibility for your organization and aligns you with our passionate national audience in your own region and beyond.
There are a variety of ways to help us bring Open Days to your area:
- Organize an Open Day in your area, or find outstanding private gardens to share
- Identify local garden specialists, sites or topics for a Digging Deeper or other special event
- Host a Digging Deeper or coordinate a special tour at your own site to complement Open Days
- Provide volunteers at Open Days gardens, and create awareness with your own public outreach
