Shooting Star Farm

As it is with most of you, I'm sure, I'm a life-time member of Plants Anonymous. My wife and I moved our horse farm to Spofford 25 years ago, and I immediately began planting. The challenge, of course, is having "eyes bigger than my stomach"; it's challenging keeping up with as many flower beds as I want to create. Additionally, in August of 2023, we finished construction on a new equine facility, so we are in the midst of designing and completing the accompanying landscaping, which, so far, includes a naturalized water feature and a life-sized horse sculpture. Having scheduled events is a convenient method of keeping us on track to finish new projects and optimize the existing beds, so we're happy to be part of the Open Days 2024 Garden Tours.

This garden's estimated size is 2 acres.
