About

Unusual and rare flowering trees and shrubs, including collections of redbuds, dogwoods, and magnolias, are the main focus of our 1-acre informal garden. There are also many Japanese maples and fruit trees as well as perennial borders in both sun and shade.

A portion of the garden is a shady woodland with paths that lead the visitor to the next, unseen part of the garden. Although we first started gardening here over 40 years ago, and many of the saplings we planted are now mature trees, we continue to learn and plant.

This garden's estimated size is 3/4 acre.

This Garden Host reports the following Terrain Notes about the garden: There are stepping stones in the woodland areas.
