Celebrated garden photographer Stacy Bass has long called daybreak her true muse. For her second book, Gardens at First Light (Moffly Media, May 2015), she went behind the gates of a dozen private gardens in the Northeast to photograph these incredible landscapes in the most enchanting light of day. 

Stacy's passion for capturing light, color, and the essence of place manifests itself in her images. In this illustrated talk, she will discuss her technique and creative process and invite collaborative discussion from the audience.

About the speaker
From her first solo exhibition in 1988, Stacy's fine art work has become part of numerous private, corporate, and hotel collections and her images and unique perspective continues to tap into the emotion and sensibility of a wide spectrum of viewers. A political science/photojournalism major from Barnard College, Columbia University, Stacy is also a graduate of NYU School of Law, where she concentrated on Copyright, Art, and Entertainment law, and later became vice-president of Savoy Pictures Entertainment, Inc.
