On 9 acres in Centreville, DE, surrounded by world-class gardens (Winterthur, Mt. Cuba, Longwood), Bill Duncan started landscaping 40+ years ago on property in his family for four generations. The original oak/tulip poplar/beech forest on part of the land has been enhanced with uncommon trees and shrubs that Bill picked up in his landscaping business. Hardscaping and water features abound. When Bill divided the property, Meg Spurlin fulfilled her lifelong gardening passion and snapped up No. 19, adding flower borders and other grace-notes to this superb, mature landscape.
