New Canaan Meadow

Over the last five years, we have been replacing turfgrass and planting a variety of native flowering plants and grasses.  We also did a great deal of work to transform a flooding problem into a stream we constructed that ends in a small pond.  The goal has been to create an environment conducive to wildlife ranging from birds to butterflies and fireflies.
