About
House and garden designer Todd Schwebel conceived his historic Hyde Park residence’s garden more than 25 years ago as an architectural extension of his Edwardian townhouse to maximize his ability to host large groups, provide year round interest as a viewing garden and establish verdant views in this most urban of settings.
Taking direct inspiration from Russell Page, Frank Cabot and a nod from Ellen Biddle Shipman, Schwebel’s outdoor rooms step you back in time to the Golden Age of American garden design.
This garden’s estimated size is 6,000 sq. ft.
This Garden Host reports the following Terrain Notes about the garden: This garden is sunken, and requires walking down steps to access.
