Saturday, April 12th Open Day at Forty Oaks Farm
Betty has been a hands-on gardener for almost 50 years. She has learned to know and love plants of all shapes and sizes. She has traveled extensively to different gardens in Europe and Asia and learned to love and appreciate all kinds of gardens. Betty is a syndicated columnist for local papers and has authored two books, How to Grow, Cultivate and Enjoy Hydrangeas, and A Four Season Southern Garden. Betty tends a four-acre garden that features all kinds of plants. She started out with mainly woody plants and grew into bulbs and perennials. Her garden is a wonderland of azaleas when it is open this year.
