Saturday, May 10th Open Day at Biercuk & Luckey Garden
This garden is opening twice this season: May 10 and September 13.
We designed, personally installed, and maintain our four-season garden, which shelters, under a high oak canopy, a collection of rhododendrons, camellias, azaleas, pieris, understory trees, perennials, bulbs, and in season, tropicals.The maturing garden is adapting tochanges in sunlight/brightness due to treedeath and deforestation on three sides.The rear right quadrant, the sunniest space, contains a pool designed as a pond with a waterfall and is surrounded with plantings that peak mid-July through October. Winding paths and stone walls enhance a sense of depth and elevation on a mainly flat acre. There is something in bloom every season. This garden’s estimated size is 1/2 acre.
