Digging Deeper: A Reunion of Trees
Trees are remarkable organisms and, along with all the other species of plants in the world, they are essential to life. Trees are foundational to the forested ecosystems of the world. Their stories are entwined with human society and cultures around the world for all that they provide and represent, and are fundamental elements in many of our cultivated landscapes. Join Botanic Garden director and curator, Tom Clark, on a walking tour of Mount Holyoke's richly planted campus during which he'll share engaging stories, reveal challenges faced by many trees, and highlight sound advice for caring for trees in our own landscapes.
Tickets will be available for this Open Day on Thursday, April 1st.
