After reviewing current news about the spreading of coronavirus (COVID-19), we regret to inform you that we have canceled this event. This does not directly affect other events of the Garden Conservancy.
Spend an extraordinary Sunday afternoon in one of the nation’s most spectacular private gardens: Camp Rosemary. This expansive Lake Forest estate, designed by Rose Standish Nichols in the 1920s and later enhanced by other prominent landscape designers, includes an array of captivating garden rooms, a lush wooded ravine garden, and an exquisite pool house. Head gardener Marya Padour will lead visitors through this intensely and imaginatively cultivated oasis, discussing historic garden elements, features that have been added over the years, and the expert horticultural techniques used to make this garden shine. In addition to visual riches, guests will be lavished with attention, from valet parking to wine and hors d’oeuvres while exploring the garden.
