Join Edith Bergstrom for a guided tour of her two-acre garden featuring more than 200 species of palms, as well as her private studio where she paints breathtaking “portraits” inspired by the plants she has loved and collected for more than thirty years. Ms. Bergstrom was raised in a desert community south of Palm Springs, California and has focused on painting palm trees since 1974. She became well known nationally in watercolor societies with her paintings receiving awards in more than half of the many national competitions in which they were exhibited. Edith found her own visual language in dynamic images of a subject most people simply take for granted. See more at www.palmpaintings.com.
