Digging Deeper: Combos for Cohesion, Echoes that Resound

Digging Deeper: Combos for Cohesion, Echoes that Resound

Sat, Jun 4, 2022
10:00 AM-11:00 AM

The moment you begin to create a garden, plants start to interplay. In this Digging Deeper event, we will discuss exploring the dialogues in your garden to the max. Over the years, Glenn has optimized relationships between the various components of his garden to create harmony on all levels. Hosting an impressive diversity of connoisseur plants, he designs carefully wrought combinations of shrubs, perennials, alpines, and herbs to create a scene with impact and a sense of the past. Beyond the visual patterns that interplay in the garden, we'll also talk about textural and spatial combinations. We'll even delve into scents as well as discussing components such as pathway choices and elements that speak into the history of gardening, echoing the roots of the house. In keeping with Tovah's focus on sensory awareness on all levels, we'll plug into all that the garden has to offer. Of course, there will be a walk-through to illustrate our points.

Admittance to this garden’s Open Day on June 4 is included with a purchase of the corresponding Digging Deeper ticket.
