Garden of George Trecina

Meriden, CT
Open Days, Water feature, Plant Sale, Container gardens, Open Days Special Program, Garden Extras

My garden is the result of many years of trial and error, successes and failures, and the continued joy of creating something different and interesting each season to share with new and returning visitors. In recent years, many old and deteriorating plants and features have been replaced with a fresh new look. The last vestiges of lawn are being replaced with peastone and various ground cover plants. The “portable” aspect of this garden allows for the shifting of various container plants throughout the season. There will continue to be a strong emphasis on striking color and textural contrasts with annuals, tropicals, and a wide array of succulents. There will be continued attention to adding more herbs and vegetables. This year we plan to actually have both fountains working at the same time.

We welcome bus tours and private showings for garden clubs. Please contact us for details: www.landdesign-georgetrecina.com.
