Meet Christopher Gow, our new Open Days Program Manager

As we celebrate 25 years of Garden Conservancy Open Days in 2020 and keenly look forward to our next 25, we are delighted to announce a new member of the team at our Hudson Valley headquarters: Christopher Gow, our new Open Days Program Manager.

The Program Manager is the keystone of the Open Days team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the program. Christopher will be the full-time, frontline point of contact for service and support to our wonderful regional ambassadors and garden hosts. We’re thrilled to have him on board.

Christopher is a trained botanist and passionate environmentalist and gardener. He joins our team after a successful career as a sculpture specialist at Sotheby’s Auction House and as founding owner of Creel and Gow, a specialty shop in New York City selling “Objects of an Interesting Nature.” Christopher is also the chairman of the Tuxedo Park Tree Advisory Board, in Tuxedo Park, NY, where he was recently involved in a major project converting a 23-acre former horse track into a native wildflower meadow.

Please join us in welcoming Christopher to the Garden Conservancy staff and the Open Days community.
