The Garden Conservancy Northwest Network (GCNN) is a member-supported, nonprofit association of Pacific Northwest gardens and horticultural organizations dedicated to preserving historic green spaces, opening beautiful gardens for public enjoyment, and educating people about horticulture.
The next workshop will be held on October 21-22, 2017, at the Oswego Heritage Center in Oswego, OR. The meeting topic is "Succession Planning" and will feature presentations by Paula Manley of Paula Manley Consulting and by James Brayton Hall, president and CEO of the Garden Conservancy, and Pamela Governale, director of preservation at the Garden Conservancy. The spring workshop of the GCNN focused on grant writing and was held at Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden on March 11, 2017, in SeaTac, WA.
In 2016, the fall GCNN workshop was held at the Leach Botanical Garden in Portland, OR, on Saturday, November 5; the topic was marketing your organization. The spring GCNN workshop was held at PowellsWood in Federal Way, WA, on Saturday, March 19. The topic was children's education programs.
