Carolyn Mehran

Carolyn Mehran has had a passion for gardens and gardening since childhood, beginning with her grandmother who introduced her to the beauty of roses and the bounty of vegetable gardens. Today, she enjoys the garden that she and her husband, Alex, have created in the Napa Valley. She has been a member of the Society of Fellows of the Garden Conservancy since 2015 and was elected to the board of directors in 2017. Since 2018, she has been chair of the West Coast Council, a west coast group of Garden Conservancy Fellows and members who support local and national Garden Conservancy programming and promote local membership. She is a regular presence at Garden Conservancy programs and Society of Fellows trips throughout the country.

Carolyn retired after leading the company she founded in 2000, Alliance Leadership, which provided coaching and training services to senior executives in the tech industry. In her spare time she enjoys travel, nature photography, golf, hiking, and fly fishing.
