200 Block of Greenwich Street - Telegraph Hill

Two gardens in one. The first is in front of a small cottage that sits on one of the steep walking blocks on Telegraph Hill. Number 235 Greenwich Street has a terraced slope planted with chaos as its theme. The second garden is the public right-of-way that would be Greenwich Street if there was a street. Instead there are four neighbors who volunteer, scrounge, and wrestle a garden onto the side of the cliff here. As much an art project as a garden, we try to carry on a garden that has been here for more than fifty years.
