Open Days

This is a small village garden designed by a plantsman to be an extension of the house. The house and garden are situated on a hill and the garden is terraced on three levels. It is planted with a mixture of unusual trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and bulbs. Plants were selected primarily for interesting foliage and textures.

Directions:
From intersection of Route 123 & 202 in Hancock, take Route 202 south about 6 miles. At Peterborough Library, turn right onto Main Street. Cross bridge and go through downtown Peterborough. Drive through intersection with stop sign at Grove Street. Go up hill (about 0.25 mile), turn gentle right up hill onto High Street. House is third on left, across street from Peterborough Elementary School; a white clapboard house with a picket fence.
