Preservation Resources Overview

In addition to providing a range of different garden preservation services to specific gardens across America, the Garden Conservancy also creates and disseminates educational materials. It also serves as a nexus of resources related to the preservation of gardens. One area of focus is the conversion of private gardens into viable, self-sustaining, public amenities as part of America's cultural and natural heritage.

This section describes the Garden Conservancy's preservation handbook, Taking a Garden Public and contains samples of working documents, such as vision statements and cultural landscape report.
